About Me

I am critical refugee studies scholar and social worker (MSW) with a PhD in Political Science from UW-Madison. My work is oriented toward helping us live more humanely in a violent world—focusing particularly on societal and systemic ways of alleviating pain, loss, and trauma for communities affected by violence.
